By being here you clearly want to learn more about the nutrition and beverage industry. Please feel free to explore some of my past posts and subscribe to get future posts.
Before you dive in, I wanted to give you a little background on myself:
I have a M.S. in Food Science, a B.S. in Chemistry, and am certified as a Certified Food Scientist (CFS). I have been working in the Food and Beverage Industry for the last 13 years. Specifically, I have been working in the Nutrition Industry as a product developer for the last 7+ years. I have worked for a powdered supplement manufacturer and a flavor company during these years. During this time, I worked with various supplement and nutritional beverage companies to help create great tasting beverages that have helped you (as a consumer) feel your best and achieve your nutritional goals.
One of the things that I have discovered through my time in the nutrition industry, is the amount of mis-information out there put together by people within my industry and people outside of my industry who think they know better. As such, consumers think of the nutrition (+food and beverage) industry as “evil” by promoting toxic, bad ingredients that are harmful to the consumer. That cannot be further from the truth. That is not to say that there are some ingredients out there that claim to have more benefits than they actually do; there definitely is. My goal here is to put some science behind some of the claims both within my industry and outside of my industry and to promote some sound insights behind the development of your favorite beverages.
Everyone deserves to be their healthiest and best version of themselves. With some knowledge, hopefully it will be easier to achieve this.
Over the last 6 months, I have been posting to LinkedIn about various topics within the Nutritional Beverage industry. For my paid subscribers, you will be able to find those blog posts in the archive.
